The onboard camera is equipped with a 1-inch 20-megapixel CMOS sensor. A mechanical shutter is used to eliminate rolling shutter distortion, which can occur when taking images of fast-moving subjects or when flying at high speeds. In effect, it is as powerful as many professional cameras. More powerful video processing supports H.264 4K videos at 60 fps or H.265 4K at 30 fps, both with a 100Mbps bitrate. Excellent optical performance, sensors, and processors ensure everything is captured with high dynamic range and more image detail needed for advanced post-production

Intelligent Flight Performance

Draw is a brand new technology for waypoint control. Simply draw a route on the screen and the Phantom 4 Advanced will move in that direction while keeping its altitude locked. This allows the pilot to focus on camera control and enables more complex shots. There are two Draw modes that can be used in different scenarios.

Forward: The aircraft follows the route at a constant speed with the camera facing in the direction of flight.
Free: The aircraft only moves along the route when instructed. In this mode, the camera can face any direction during a flight.

A. Yes, it does. Tap a point on the display to focus at that point after switching from metering to focus mode. Autofocus can also be triggered by half-pressing the shutter button but only with the Plus RC, before fully pressing the shutter to capture an image. Focus can be set between 1 m and infinity.

    Before of buying this Phantom I had a P3 Pro and a P3-4K, I was not aware of the P4 Pro model or the Adv model, I did a search of the features I for me the Adv will do the same as the Pro for less money, I sold my P3 Pro and bought this one, the most influential feature for me is the improvement in the camera. This is a beautiful quadcopter, great lines and a better finish than the previous model. The performance is incredible, the battery life is a huge improvement over the P3. The camera is awesome, a 1 inch sensor in it and you can adjust the aperture, this is a huge point to me.

    I bought this for the 1 inch sensor and it was worth it over the 1/2.3 inch sensor in the P3Pro (which I still have). Images are so much smoother with the 60fps 4K and adjustable apertures. Indoor flying is like having a camera on a cable.

    I’ve had a Phantom 4 for the past year, but just got the Advanced for the improved camera. Very nice! Easy to fly. Highly reliable. Takes great photos and videos. It can take stills while shooting video, but they will be the same resolution as the video.

    this is a great Drone, but do yourself a favor and Buy the Phantom 4 Pro.
    Having 360 degree protection is well worth it.
