Focus System:-

Cinematic Sharpness

A built-in front dial above the trigger allows for single handed focus control. It also complements a mounted Focus Wheel for two-channel focus and zoom control, right from the handle.

The 3D Focus System uses ToF sensors to measure the distance between lens and subject. Also, you can get a sharp picture even in low lighting. This advanced system enables fast autofocusing on manual, large-aperture lenses.

The RS 2 uses a dual-layer Manfrotto plus Arca-Swiss camera mounting system with two removable quick-release plates.

For social media content, the gimbal can be adjusted at the tap of a button to position your camera into portrait mode. To let you efficiently balance your camera, the RS 2 has an axis lock on each axis, so you can unlock and balance one axis at a time.

Additionally, a fine-tune balancing knob allows you to further dial in the optimal balance for your camera.

The Best Yet!

The DJI RS 2 Pro Combo packs several additional accessories with the RS 2 gimbal to provide for a more comprehensive workflow. A key addition is the DJI Ronin RavenEye Image Transmission System, which allows for 330′ 1080p video transmission from the gimbal with a latency of only 50ms for on-set collaboration. The other extra accessories are a focus motor, phone holder, two focus gears, and three HDMI cables.

The BG30 grip has a max runtime of 12 hours and can charge independently from DJI RS 2. Fast charging enables two hours of runtime with just a 15min charge.

DJI RS 2 employs a cartridge design for more secure battery mounting and faster battery swaps.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQS)

A: Compared with Ronin-S, the motors of DJI RS 2 are about 20% more powerful, while the gimbal weight is reduced by about 25%. Equipped with a 1.4-inch full-color touchscreen and redesigned built-in front dial, DJI RS 2 also supports more accessories than the Ronin-S.

A: Please follow these steps and activate DJI RS 2:
1. Press the power button and hold to power on the gimbal;
2. Enable Bluetooth on your mobile device;
3. Launch the Ronin app, register/log in with your DJI account, select DJI RS 2 on the equipment list, enter default password 12345678, and follow the app’s instructions to activate. A network connection is required throughout the activation;
4. DJI RS 2 will enter sleep mode after successful activation. Press the power button twice to exit sleep mode before use.

A: No. The power/data port on DJI RS 2 is not waterproof or dustproof. Please keep away from water and dust during use.

A: The DJI RS 2 can be used up to 12 hours when the battery is fully charged and the gimbal is balanced well.

A: Yes. You can adjust parameters like ISO and exposure of certain cameras in the Ronin app. You can set parameters in “Create” – “Camera Settings.” Or slide up the LCD screen to enter front dial settings page, and select a parameter to be controlled by the front dial, such as ISO and aperture.
