A Raspberry Pi 4B 4GB brain, a 5-DOF arm with an eye-in-hand HD camera, four Mecanum wheels for true omnidirectional motion — and an OpenCV stack tuned for face tracking, colour sorting, QR reading, gesture recognition and line following. The AI-vision robot that turns a Python beginner into a computer-vision practitioner.
Most beginner robots stop at line-following. MasterPi ships with a 5-DOF arm, a camera on the arm tip, Mecanum wheels underneath and a Raspberry Pi 4B brain — so students learn robotics and computer vision on the same platform, in the same afternoon.

A 5-DOF metal-gear robotic arm with a 120° wide-angle HD camera at the end effector. The arm learns colour sorting, target tracking, QR pick-and-place and intelligent transport — because the vision system is looking at the object from the gripper’s point of view, not somewhere on the chassis.

Four Mecanum wheels give MasterPi true 360° omnidirectional motion — forward, sideways, diagonal, in-place rotation. LDX-218 full-metal-gear digital servos with dual ball bearings and 17 KG-cm torque handle the joints. The chassis rotates a full 360° while the arm tilts through 180° independently.

Face tracking, colour tracking, QR-code recognition, gesture recognition, object recognition and line following — every mode ships pre-tuned with annotated Python source. A built-in LAB colour calibration tool lets students fine-tune thresholds visually, so you can adapt any lab lighting in minutes.

WonderPi iOS / Android app for demos and classroom control. Graphical PC software with a servo slider and action-group editor for no-code motion design. VNC remote desktop straight into the Pi for real Linux work. Wi-Fi direct for headless labs. All four interfaces run on top of the same open Python codebase.
Full mechanical, electrical, and software configuration — exactly what ships in the box.
Specs per Hiwonder 2026 datasheet. Institution discount, GeM listing, KYC and pan-India delivery on enquiry. No-Cost EMI available via Snapmint at checkout (orders above ₹ 3,000).
MasterPi’s tutorials map onto a 6-stage curriculum — from Raspberry Pi Linux basics to a full pick-and-place capstone.

The AI-vision robot Indian STEAM programmes, engineering colleges and school labs reach for as a first serious platform.
Assembly is part of the learning — students build the robot, then program the vision. Perfect for CBSE / ICSE / IB atelier programmes.
The M1–M6 ladder covers a full BTech elective in embedded systems & computer vision — Python, OpenCV, Mecanum kinematics, ROS.
Mecanum manoeuvring, QR-code navigation, colour sorting and pick-and-place challenges — competition-ready with tuned Python examples.
OpenCV crash courses, colour-space workshops, hackathons — MasterPi turns a whiteboard theory session into a running Python demo.
Both. The kit ships with illustrated step-by-step instructions and pre-tuned code — a motivated Class 10 student can assemble it in a weekend. An engineering-college lab can dig into the servo controllers, Mecanum kinematics and OpenCV internals for a semester. Same hardware, two very different depths.
This kit ships with the Raspberry Pi 4B (4 GB) pre-installed and image-loaded. You can drop in a Pi 4B (8 GB) or a Pi 5 later — Hiwonder’s Python stack is Pi-family compatible with minor tweaks. We’ll walk you through migration if / when you upgrade.
MasterPi ships with a Python + OpenCV stack rather than ROS by default — simpler for STEAM and AI-vision learning. Advanced users can install ROS Noetic on the Pi and drive the servos through Hiwonder’s serial-bus API; we’ll share the reference implementation on request. For a ROS-native platform, see JetAuto or JetHexa.
Six vision modes ship pre-tuned — face tracking, colour tracking, QR-code recognition, gesture recognition, object recognition and line following. The built-in LAB colour calibration tool lets students fine-tune thresholds for their lab lighting in minutes. All source is open Python.
All three. WonderPi iOS / Android app for demos and classroom control, graphical PC software with a servo slider and action-group editor for no-code motion design, and VNC remote desktop into the Pi for real Linux + Python work. Wi-Fi direct mode works headless in labs without ethernet.
Yes — we offer bulk pricing for schools and colleges, GST invoicing at ₹ 47,280 excl. GST (No-Cost EMI from ₹ 5,254/mo across 9 months via Snapmint at checkout), GeM listing where required, and government-tender documentation. Ask for the education price sheet on enquiry.
Manufacturer warranty plus the 1-Year xBoom AMC. Every unit ships with remote onboarding, a Python + OpenCV walkthrough session, and access to the tutorial library. Pan-India insured shipping. On-site training and departmental workshops are available on request.
Tell us your programme — school, college or club, and batch size — and we’ll spec the right MasterPi configuration with an INR proposal, GST invoice, institution discount and AMC.
