5DOF Robot Arm with Eye-in-Hand Camera
MasterPi's body is equipped with a 5-degree-of-freedom robotic arm that can easily grab and carry target items. The end of the MasterPi robotic arm is equipped with a HD wide-angle camera, which can perform eye-following operation — the camera moves with the arm, providing a first-person perspective that enables precise object localization and automated item picking.
By leveraging the OpenCV library, MasterPi can effectively recognize and locate target objects to implement AI applications such as color sorting, target tracking, and line following. MasterPi utilizes high-performance LDX-218 servos with metal gear, metal servo horn, providing robust force and high accuracy performance. The protective body structure can bear bigger loads and shields the control board from shock.
- Color sorting — identify and sort objects by color using OpenCV
- Target tracking — PID-controlled arm follows detected targets
- Intelligent transport — pick up, carry, and deliver items autonomously
- Line following — detect and follow color lines on the ground

4-Wheel Mecanum Chassis — Bold to Challenge Any Route
With 4 omnidirectional Mecanum wheels, MasterPi can realize 360° omnidirectional movement. Different movement modes including forward, horizontal, diagonal, and rotation make it bold to challenge various complicated routes with exceptional performance. Loaded with a 120° wide-angle camera, combined with the Mecanum chassis, the visual range reaches 360°.
Hiwonder JetAuto's high-precision pendulum suspension structure balances the force exerted on all four wheels, enabling good adaptability to uneven surfaces. The Mecanum wheel chassis is controlled via the WonderPi app or through Python code, allowing both beginner-friendly app control and professional programmatic operation.

No-Code Control, Action Editing & Color Calibration
With the graphical PC software, you can control the rotation of the robot servo by dragging sliders without writing any code, and can edit and save the robot action group for later playback. MasterPi is equipped with a LAB color space threshold calibration tool that allows you to visually fine-tune color recognition parameters with precision.
WonderPi APP supports Android and iOS. Switch game modes easily and quickly to experience various AI games. MasterPi is easy to assemble with the provided instructions — you can enjoy the building process while learning about the robot's mechanical and electronic structure. Detailed course materials include open-source Python code and video lessons by real instructors.
