Got You Covered – Comprehensive Safety: The updated integrated propeller guard design of Avata 2 makes it lighter and more agile, enabling it to navigate freely in tight spaces. Releasing the accelerator on RC Motion 3 or pressing the lock button brings the drone to a halt, allowing you to handle unexpected situations calmly. In addition, the automatic Return to Home (RTH) function is initiated when the drone’s battery is low or in case of signal loss, adding an extra layer of security.
Advanced Positioning with New Sensors: New binocular fisheye sensors enable downward and backward visual positioning during low-altitude and indoor flights, enhancing flight stability and safety.
Turtle Mode: Avata 2 can automatically flip itself back into takeoff position when upside down with Turtle mode enabled, allowing you to quickly get airborne again, thereby minimizing downtime and enhancing recovery efficiency during flight mishaps.
The Sky’s the Limit With Longer Flight: Avata 2 boasts a maximum flight time of 23 minutes and supports PD fast charging, so you can quickly recharge it and take to the skies again.
The new DJI Avata 2 Two-Way Charging Hub features a power accumulation function, allowing the transfer of remaining power from multiple batteries to the one with the highest charge level, giving you an “extra battery” in critical moments.
Wide-Angle Stabilized Video
The Avata comes equipped with a 48MP 1/1.7″ CMOS sensor, which supports up to 4K video at 100 fps. This footage is shot with an ultra-wide 155° FOV that mimics how we see with our own eyes for a natural and realistic experience. The footage is stabilized in two ways using RockSteady 2.0 EIS and HorizonSteady EIS. RockSteady EIS works to reduce camera shake, while HorizonSteady locks the Avata’s footage to a level horizon.

The ultra-wide 155° FOV of the Avata makes for an exhilarating experience when first-person piloting with the DJI FPV Goggles V2. The goggles receive a steady transmission via the DJI O3+ system over dual-band Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) and can run for up to 110 minutes per charge. The live feed you view is made to be lifelike and smooth thanks to dual built-in 2″ screens, each with a resolution of 1440 x 810, running at a fast 144 Hz refresh rate.
