The Unitree Go2 Charging Station gives the Go2 a place to dock and charge through direct contact, without needing the battery removed and connected to a separate charger by hand. It comes bundled with the 33.6V/9A Fast Charger, so charging itself is quick — this isn’t a slow trickle-charge dock.
It’s worth being precise about what “self-charging” means here. This is hardware only, so there’s no autonomous docking software included — the robot doesn’t find its way back to the station on its own out of the box. And even with software added later, true autonomous navigation to the dock is only realistically possible on a Go2 EDU Plus fitted with Mid-360 or XT16 LiDAR. Other Go2 variants can still use the station, just by walking the robot onto it manually rather than having it dock itself.
