Unitree As2 Air
The entry point into Unitree's As2 line of compact industrial quadrupeds — a 12-motor aluminium-alloy chassis with an 8-core computing core, Unitree L2 LiDAR, HD camera, WiFi6 and Bluetooth 5.2, built to carry real payload over real terrain.
Compact Size, Industrial Capability
The Unitree As2 Air is the entry configuration of the As2 platform: a 12-joint-motor quadruped built from aluminium alloy and high-strength engineering plastic, running on industrial-grade crossed roller bearings for precision and load capacity. It carries an 8-core high-performance computing core, Unitree L2 LiDAR, an HD camera, onboard speaker and microphone, a front light, and WiFi6 with Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity — all on a standard 8000mAh battery with a standard charger. A remote control is available as an optional accessory on this configuration.

Powerful Motors, Exceptional Payload
The As2 Air runs on 12 low-inertia, high-speed inner rotor PMSM joint motors with enhanced response and heat dissipation, delivering approximately 65N·m of maximum joint torque. That's enough to support a standing payload of up to 45kg, or approximately 10kg during continuous walking — all from an ~18kg chassis.
Precise Perception, Intelligent Following
The As2 Air is equipped with an 8-core CPU and Unitree L2 LiDAR for onboard sensing and mapping. The self-developed ISS 3.0 Intelligent Follow System — for centimeter-level positioning and stable following — is available starting from the As2 Pro configuration; the Air configuration provides the core perception hardware as a foundation for it.
Open Platform, Empowering Innovation
The As2 Air supports the UniStore platform, giving access to Unitree's app ecosystem out of the box. Developer-friendly interfaces for large AI model integration and full secondary development are available on the As2 Edu configuration for teams building custom autonomous behaviors.
Extended Runtime, Ready for the Field
Running on its standard 8000mAh battery, the As2 Air delivers approximately 2 hours (~10km) of unloaded walking, or over 1.5 hours (~7km) while carrying 10kg. A standard 50.4V/4A charger is included, with a remote control available as an optional accessory.

Common Questions — As2 Air
What's the difference between As2 Air and the higher As2 configurations?
The As2 Air shares the same 12-motor chassis, 8-core CPU and Unitree L2 LiDAR as the Pro and Edu configurations, but does not include the ISS 3.0 Intelligent Follow System, GPS, 4G, IP54 weather sealing, or secondary development access. It also has a lower max joint torque (~65N·m vs ~75–90N·m) and a standard rather than long-range battery.
How much payload can the As2 Air carry?
The As2 Air supports a standing payload of approximately 45kg, and can continuously walk while carrying approximately 10kg.
How long does the battery last?
On the standard 8000mAh battery, the As2 Air runs for approximately 2 hours (about 10km) unloaded, or over 1.5 hours (about 7km) while carrying 10kg.
Is a remote control included?
No. A remote control is available as an optional accessory on the As2 Air configuration; it is included by default on the Pro and Edu configurations.
Does the As2 Air support secondary development?
No. Secondary development is only supported on the As2 Edu configuration. The As2 Air does support the UniStore platform and continuous smart OTA upgrades.
Is the As2 Air weatherproof?
The As2 Air does not carry an IP protection rating. IP54 rainproof sealing is available on the As2 Pro and Edu configurations.
