The G1 Pro's motion system uses a low-inertia joint architecture with generous range across every axis. The waist moves through 3 axes, and each arm carries 7 DOF (shoulder 3 + elbow 2 + wrist 2 optional), for a combined total of 29 degrees of freedom across the platform.

Each leg contributes 6 DOF of its own (hip 3 + knee 1 + ankle 2), and with a top moving speed of 2m/s, the added articulation is what makes rapid, off-axis movements — recovery steps, torso rotation, combination sequences — possible without sacrificing balance.
