What makes it work
Pro Version — V2 · With RGB Camera
Unitree Dex1-1 Gripper Pro
All the mechanical precision of the Dex1-1 with an integrated 1080P RGB camera at 118° horizontal FOV. Built for vision-guided grasping, object recognition, and perception-aware manipulation on H2, G1, and R1 humanoid platforms.
Vision-Enhanced Gripper — Grip with Confidence
The Unitree Dex1-1 Pro Version (V2) builds on the Standard gripper's proven mechanics and adds an integrated 1080P RGB camera for vision-guided grasping. The camera delivers 30 or 60 FPS at 1080P, with a 118° horizontal, 87° vertical, and 140° diagonal field of view — wide enough to monitor the full grasping workspace from the gripper's own perspective. All gripper mechanics remain identical to the Standard: 90mm stroke, 5–120N adjustable force, 0.1mm fingertip resolution, and 1000Hz high-speed 485 control. The Pro package includes the gripper, RGB camera with dedicated mount, D405 bracket, 485-to-USB board, and all cables.
Four Pillars of the Dex1-1 Pro
See What You Grip — Vision-Guided Manipulation
1080P at 118° FOV — Real-Time Workspace Vision
The Pro Version's integrated RGB camera streams 1080P video at 30 or 60 FPS, with a 118° horizontal field of view that covers the full grasping workspace without blind spots. The wide 140° diagonal FOV captures object positions, orientations, and approach trajectories from the gripper's own perspective — enabling grasp planning, object recognition, and visual feedback loops without an external camera rig. A dedicated mounting bracket positions the camera optimally relative to the jaw plane, and the included D405 depth camera bracket means depth sensing can be added later without new hardware.
Same Proven Core — 90mm Stroke, 20kg Form-Fit Load
The Pro retains the full mechanical specification of the Standard Dex1-1: 90mm stroke, 5–120N adjustable force, and 0.1mm fingertip resolution. Full-stroke closing takes as little as 0.24s. Form-fitting grasp load reaches 20kg horizontally; friction mode delivers 5kg vertically. The M4010 motor with 1:25 reduction ratio and 15-bit absolute encoder drives the jaw, communicating over high-speed 485 at 6Mbps and 1000Hz for complete motor state feedback and responsive closed-loop control.
Vision-Ready Across Six Industry Sectors
The Dex1-1 Pro is deployed in scientific research, industrial automation, consumer electronics, courier sorting, new retail, and medicine. The RGB camera makes it particularly effective in applications requiring object recognition and visual confirmation — quality control inspection, vision-guided assembly, and teleoperation with live camera feedback. Compatible with Unitree G1, H2, and R1 humanoid robots, and supports standalone end-effector use. Secondary development is fully supported through Unitree's robotics interfaces for custom vision pipelines.

Common Questions — Dex1-1 Pro
What does the Pro add over the Standard?
The Pro Version adds a 1080P RGB camera (30/60fps, H:118° V:87° D:140° FOV) with a dedicated mounting bracket. All gripper mechanics are identical to the Standard. Choose Pro when visual feedback for grasping, object detection, or teleoperation with camera view is needed, but full depth sensing is not yet required.
Is the D405 depth camera included in the Pro?
No — the Pro includes the D405 depth camera mounting bracket but not the D405 camera itself. The physical hardware is ready to add depth later. If both RGB and D405 depth sensing are needed out of the box, choose the Ultimate Version.
Can the RGB camera be used for AI training datasets?
Yes. The 1080P RGB camera at 30/60fps provides a first-person gripper-mounted view ideal for embodied AI data collection, imitation learning, and teleoperation with visual feedback. Camera data and motor state are both accessible through Unitree's secondary development interface.
Which robots is the Pro compatible with?
The Dex1-1 Pro is compatible with Unitree H2, G1, and R1 humanoid robots and supports standalone use. The camera and gripper connect to the host system via the included 485-to-USB board and standard USB respectively.
How does force-position hybrid control work on the Dex1-1?
The Dex1-1 uses force-position hybrid control, where the motor simultaneously tracks a target position while respecting a software-defined force limit. You control gripping force from 5N to 120N by sending stiffness, damping, and torque parameters at 1000Hz — preventing crushing of delicate objects while still achieving precise jaw positions.
