Overview

What makes it work

Everything Is Filmed by This Drone

Using a special dual-lens configuration, Antigravity A1 captures everything in 360 degrees. The two lenses work together to record the drone’s surroundings. Drone pilots are placed precisely inside the scene without any distractions thanks to sophisticated stitching techniques that remove the drone from both the live video stream and the finished clip.

Antigravity A1

Introducing Antigravity A1, the first drone in the world with integrated 8K 360-degree video. Additionally, it is the first offering from Antigravity, a new drone brand that Insta360 is developing in partnership with outside companies. A1 offers an incredibly accessible flying experience, 360-degree immersive flight, and endless creative possibilities.

Every angle are captured in pristine 8K quality, pilots can avoid framing their photographs while in flight. Instead, during editing, they are free to rearrange their footage. Flying is made easy and there is less chance of missing important moments. In post-production, users can apply effects like horizon flips and Tiny Planet, and export footage in any aspect ratio without sacrificing quality. With Antigravity A1, creators who are accustomed to the Insta360 X Series workflow will probably have no trouble editing the 360-degree video.

Antigravity A1 360 Drone — The World's First 8K 360° FPV Camera

Fly First, Frame Later

The Antigravity A1 is Insta360's first Antigravity-branded drone. It's also the first consumer drone to combine 8K 360° capture with FPV flight. Two ultra-wide lenses — one facing forward, one facing back — record the entire sphere around the aircraft as you fly.

Onboard processing then automatically stitches both feeds into a single clean 360° file. It also invisibly removes the drone body from the frame. So the shot doesn't have to be right the first time — you decide the framing afterward, in the edit.

What sets the A1 apart from a standard camera drone isn't just the 360° capture — it's FreeMotion. The pilot wearing the FPV Vision Goggles can look in one direction while the drone flies in another. Because the footage covers the full sphere, this decouples where you're looking from where you're going.

Point-to-Fly motion control from the Grip Controller, Deep Track AI subject tracking, and a 10km transmission range combine in the A1. As a result, immersive aerial footage becomes accessible without a steep learning curve.

🌐

360° Immersive Capture

Dual ultra-wide lenses capture a full panoramic sphere in a single flight, so you can reframe pans, tilts, and reveals after landing instead of nailing the angle mid-air.

🧭

FreeMotion Piloting

Look in one direction through the FPV goggles while flying in another — the 360° capture means your gaze and your flight path no longer have to match.

🎯

Deep Track AI

AI-powered subject tracking keeps your subject framed in the stitched footage, simplifying action and travel shots that would otherwise need manual reframing.

📡

10km Transmission Range

Fly further from the controller and FPV goggles with confidence, backed by a stable long-range link.

The Antigravity A1 360 Drone, Three Ways to Buy It

The A1 platform itself — the drone, Grip Controller, and FPV Vision Goggles — stays identical across every configuration. Only the battery and accessory set changes from bundle to bundle.

The Standard Bundle offers the lightest entry point with a single Flight Battery. The Explorer Bundle then adds two extra batteries and a Charging Hub for long-duration sessions. Meanwhile, the Infinity Bundle brings the maximum accessory set for uninterrupted professional shoots. Either way, the flying and image-capture experience stays exactly the same.

How the 360° Capture System Works

Two ultra-wide lenses, one seamless sphere. Together they cover everything around the aircraft — no framing decisions required in the air.

Front Lens

Ultra-Wide
360° Capture

Every Tool for Immersive Aerial Capture

The A1 is engineered around one idea: capture everything, decide the shot later.

Capture 🌐

360° Immersive Capture

Dual ultra-wide lenses record the full sphere around the drone in up to 8K, so you can reframe pans, tilts, and reveals long after the flight has landed.

Stitching

Automatic Invisible Drone Stitching

The drone body and propellers are automatically removed from the stitched footage, leaving a clean, uninterrupted 360° view of the scene.

Piloting 🧭

FreeMotion Viewing

Decouple where you're looking from where you're flying — glance around the scene through the FPV goggles without changing the drone's flight path.

Range 📡

10km Transmission Range

Fly further from the controller and FPV goggles with a stable link, suited to open landscapes and large properties.

Tracking 🎯

Deep Track AI Subject Tracking

AI-powered tracking follows your subject automatically, keeping action and travel footage framed through the flight.

A Micro-OLED display and roughly 90° field of view put you inside the flight, with head tracking that lets you look around the scene in real time.

Control 🕹️

Point-to-Fly Motion Control

Fly one-handed with the Grip Controller — point where you want to go instead of managing dual sticks.

Portability ⚖️

Sub-250g, Foldable Design

At approximately 249g and fully foldable, the A1 packs into its carry case for easy travel in every bundle configuration.

Built for Creators Across Every Discipline

The A1 is as capable on a solo travel vlog as it is on a professional production set.

🌏

Travel & Adventure

Sub-250g and foldable, the A1 slips into any bag. Capture the full 360° scene around you and decide on the perfect angle once you're back home editing.

📲

Vlogging & Content Creation

FreeMotion piloting and Deep Track AI let you stay in frame while flying, and Auto Edit turns the footage into ready-to-post clips automatically.

🏠

Real Estate & Architecture

Fly a single pass through a property and reframe sweeping establishing shots, reveals, and walkthroughs afterward — no need to re-shoot for a missed angle.

🎭

Events & Weddings

360° capture means you never miss a moment because the camera was pointed the wrong way — reframe the best angle of the day after the fact.

🏃

Sports & Action

AI-powered flight modes and subject tracking keep fast-moving action in frame, while FPV goggles put you directly inside the flight for a first-person perspective.

🎬

Documentary & Film

Capture immersive establishing shots and complex reveals in a single pass, then finalise the exact camera move in post rather than in the air.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is FreeMotion, exactly?
FreeMotion is what the A1's 360° capture makes possible for FPV flying: because both lenses are recording the entire sphere around the aircraft at all times, the view you see through the FPV Vision Goggles doesn't have to match the direction the drone is actually flying. You can glance sideways or behind you mid-flight, and the footage in that direction was captured regardless.
Which Antigravity A1 360 Drone bundle should I choose — Standard, Explorer, or Infinity?
All three use the identical A1 drone, Grip Controller, and FPV Vision Goggles — flying performance and image quality are the same across every tier. The difference is battery count and accessories: Standard ships with 1 Flight Battery for the lightest entry point, Explorer adds 2 more batteries plus a Charging Hub for long-duration sessions, and Infinity includes the maximum accessory set. Choose based on how long your typical shoot runs.
What is Deep Track, and how does it help with 360° footage?
Deep Track is the A1's AI-powered subject tracking system. It follows your subject through the flight so that when you reframe the stitched 360° footage afterward, your subject stays correctly framed — useful for action, sports, and travel shots where you can't manually adjust the camera mid-flight.
How does the 360° stitching actually work?
The A1 carries two ultra-wide lenses — one facing forward, one facing backward — that together capture the full sphere around the aircraft. Onboard processing automatically blends the two feeds into a single continuous 360° file and removes the drone body and propellers from view, so the final footage looks like it was shot from a camera with no aircraft attached.
Do I need to register the A1 as a drone?
The Antigravity A1 weighs approximately 249g, placing it under the 250g threshold used by many countries' aviation authorities to determine mandatory drone registration requirements. Regulations vary by country and region, so always confirm current local drone laws before flying.
