What makes it work
Unitree A2 Pro
Stellar Explorer — an industrial-grade legged robot built for heavy payload and long-range missions: ~180N·m max joint torque, 100kg standing load, dual LiDAR perception with wireless vector follow, GPS and 4G expanded, hot-swappable dual batteries, and IP67-rated core components.
Agile, Swift, and Built for Heavy Industrial Work
The Unitree A2 Pro weighs about 42kg with its battery, yet delivers approximately 180N·m of max joint torque across 12 industrial-grade joint motors with crossed roller bearings — enough for a standing payload of about 100kg and a continuous walking payload of about 25kg (up to approximately 35kg ideally). It runs unloaded for more than 5 hours (about 20km) or over 3 hours (about 12.5km) carrying a 25kg load, powered by a dual-slot, dual-battery system that supports hot-swapping without stopping the mission. The Pro configuration adds a second industrial LiDAR (front and rear) for zero-blind-spot perception, a wireless vector follow module, GPS and 4G connectivity, and IP56–IP67 ingress protection with core components rated IP67 — plus the option of a high computing power expansion dock alongside its standard 8-core CPU and Intel Core i7 development platform.
Four Pillars of the A2 Pro
Lighter, Faster, Tougher
Agile & swift, lightweight and built for extended endurance — the A2 Pro conquers rugged terrain with ease.
Payload, Perception, Mobility & Power
Heavy Payload Standard
The A2 Pro is a premium mobile hardware platform open for rapid development, built to carry heavy industrial payloads. Its 12 joint motors deliver approximately 180N·m of max joint torque, supporting a standing load of about 100kg.
Dual-Sided Perception — Zero Blind Spots, Greater Accuracy
The A2 Pro carries 2 industrial LiDARs (front and rear) plus an HD camera and front light to detect the environment ahead — eliminating blind spots for safer navigation in complex industrial spaces.
Wheel-Leg Option Available — Unleash Greater Performance
Beyond its standard legged gait, the A2 platform supports a wheel-leg configuration option, combining rolling efficiency with legged versatility for demanding logistics and inspection routes.
Hot-Swappable Dual Batteries · Unlimited Runtime
A dual-battery parallel design lets operators swap batteries without stopping the mission — the eternal heart for extreme deployments. A reliable triple power system guarantees stable operation from -20°C to 55°C.
High Power, Smart Control, Multi-Scenario Ready
From logistics, industrial inspection, to emergency rescue — effortlessly navigating extreme and complex environments with confidence.
Medium Size, Powerful Performance, Industry Choice
Shared Chassis Design — A2 Pro
The A2 Pro shares its core chassis, computing platform and connectivity foundation with the standard A2, expanded here with dual LiDAR perception, wireless vector follow, GPS, 4G and IP67-rated core components.
