Twin-Cylinder Two-Stroke with Three-Bearing Crankshaft
The ZT-T170 is built on a twin-cylinder, air-cooled, two-stroke platform with a bore of 51mm and stroke of 41mm, delivering 170cc displacement and 18.1hp (13.3kW). The speed range spans 1100 to 7500 rpm.
The three-bearing crankshaft provides superior rigidity and load distribution compared to two-bearing designs, extending service life under continuous high-load operation. Mixture lubrication is set at a 50:1 ratio.
Automatic CDI Ignition — Carburetor or EFI
The automatic advance angle CDI ignition system optimises timing across the full rpm range without manual adjustment, operating at 6–8.4V DC.
The carburetor version consumes 6L/h. The EFI variant reduces consumption to 4.5L/h with improved altitude performance and more precise fuel metering. Recommended propellers are 30×12 and 32×10.
