The Unitree Helios 5515 LiDAR is a 32-line automotive-grade sensor built for genuinely demanding perception work, not a hobbyist add-on. A 360° horizontal field of view combines with a 70° vertical spread, tilted 55° downward, so the B2 or B2-W can see both ahead and close to its own feet at the same time. That reduces the near-field blind spot that trips up simpler sensors.
This isn’t sold as a bare sensor, either. The kit bundles an Intel Core i7 computing board with basic navigation algorithms already installed, a protective mounting bracket, custom cabling, and a full navigation SDK — plus technical support and training to help get a real deployment running faster.
