003 / INDUSTRIAL CAPABILITIES

Four lanes.
Four fleet configurations.

Industrial RaaS runs across four core capability lanes. Each uses the right Unitree platform for the job, tuned with the right payload stack, operated by our pilots and integrated into your existing operational systems.

CAPABILITY 01
Pick & place.

Humanoid-led part feeding, kit assembly, packaging and sorting for workflows that need dexterous hands but not a fixed robotic arm. Runs on Unitree H2 (dexterous hand option, 15 kg peak arm payload) for heavy industrial picks, or G1 for lighter SKU-sort and lab automation. Where a cobot doesn't fit the space or the cycle — or where the work moves between stations — the humanoid goes to the work.

  • Automotive line part-feeding and sub-assembly staging
  • Pharma kit-packing and secondary packaging
  • E-commerce SKU sort and zone-based picking
  • Laboratory sample handling and fixture loading

CAPABILITY 02
Material handling.

Quadrupeds carrying payloads between stations — point-to-point shuttle runs, follow-the-leader carts, scheduled rounds. Unitree B2 carries up to 120 kg on rough floor; B2-W wheel-leg hybrid cruises at 6 m/s on flat aisles and still climbs stairs. A2 handles 25 kg walking loads on uneven terrain where a wheeled AMR can't go. No fixed floor infra, no magnetic strips, no structural modifications.

  • 3PL warehouse pallet shuttle & last-10m delivery between zones
  • Hospital medicine and sample cart routing across floors
  • Factory raw-material movement on uneven or split-level floors
  • Campus and remote-site material transport where AGVs fail

006 / CUSTOM SCENARIOS

Don't see
your use case?

Most of our interesting work starts with a problem nobody else has built for. If the mission needs a custom payload, a bespoke sensor stack, a new choreography or integration with systems we've never seen — we scope, prototype and deploy.

If it moves, senses, carries
or interacts — we can scope it.

xBoom's robotics solutions team works case-by-case on scenarios that don't fit a standard SKU. Every new deployment begins with a free scoping call — a 30-minute conversation where we map your problem to the closest existing fleet, identify what custom work is needed (sensor, payload, software, choreography), and give you an honest feasibility and cost estimate within five working days.

We've built sensor rigs for refinery gas-sniffing, recovery arms for salvage jobs, pyrotechnic triggers for stage shows, research-grade SLAM stacks for academic labs, and covert-ops payload mounts for defence partners. If your use case is unusual, it's probably a better conversation for us than a routine deployment.

007 / ENGAGEMENT MODELS

Three ways
to start.

Every deployment can start small and scale up. Most enterprise customers begin with a one- or two-week demo to validate fit, move to a scoped pilot, then settle into a retainer. Event hire is a fourth path for one-off activations.

MODEL 01 · START HERE

Demo & pilot

1-week demo · 4–12 week pilot

One-week on-site demo to prove the fit — robot comes with a pilot, runs your actual route or scenario, generates sample deliverables. Moves to a scoped pilot (4–12 weeks) with written pass/fail criteria, rented hardware, and no lock-in if you decide not to proceed.

  • Free 30-min scoping call before we quote
  • 1-week demo at discounted day rate
  • Fixed-scope pilot with written outcomes
  • Full data handover after pilot
  • Option to convert to retainer or buy outright
MODEL 03 · ONE-OFF

Event & activation

Day rate · Programmed routine

Day-rate and multi-day hire for one-off events — brand launches, weddings, museum openings, retail activations, film shoots, corporate offsite entertainment. We programme the routine, rehearse on-site, operate live units and handle all safety and crowd-barrier logistics.

  • Day rate per robot unit + operator crew
  • Custom routine programmed to your script
  • Pre-event rehearsal window on-site
  • Live operators for the run-of-show
  • Insurance & liability cover included

All engagements include pilot training, written SOPs, safety plans and a named account engineer. Retainers include an annual business review with optimisation recommendations.

008 / BEFORE YOU BRIEF

Frequently
asked.

Enterprise procurement, HSE, IT-security, commercial and hospitality-operations questions we hear most often before the first engagement.

How does pricing work?

Demo day-rate, pilot fixed-fee, retainer monthly/quarterly, event day-rate. Actual numbers depend on robot class, crew size, integration complexity and deployment duration. We share an indicative range within a working day of the brief; full proposal after a scoping call.

Who operates the robot on-site?

Our certified pilot during demo, pilot and trial phases. For retainers, we can either keep our pilot on-site, hand off to your trained staff after our 2-week certification course, or do a hybrid — our pilot present during peak, remote supervision at other times.

What safety and HSE certifications?

All deployments come with written risk assessment, method statement, emergency E-stop training and operator insurance. For industrial sites, we integrate with your PTW system and HSE induction. For public/hospitality sites, public-liability cover and crowd-barrier protocols are standard.

Can the robot integrate with our existing systems?

Yes. We integrate with SCADA, MES, WMS, historian, CMMS, NOC/VMS, EHR (healthcare), and PMS (hospitality). Standard protocols (OPC-UA, Modbus, REST, MQTT) are out-of-the-box; anything exotic is a scoped custom-integration work item.

What's the typical setup time?

Demo: 1–3 days site prep. Pilot: 1–3 weeks (route mapping, payload tuning, operator training). Retainer rollout: 4–8 weeks including integration testing. Event hire: 3–5 days rehearsal. Custom scenarios with new payloads add 2–6 weeks of engineering time.

What happens if the robot fails during deployment?

Retainers include on-site spares kit with same-day swap, AMC with uptime SLA, and priority courier for part replacement. Pilots include a backup unit on-call within 48 hours. Demo-phase failures mean free re-run if attributable to hardware; no cost to you.

Is my operational data secure?

For defence, industrial and healthcare work, we operate under NDA with encrypted offline data transfer only — no cloud upload unless explicitly scoped. Raw data handed over on encrypted drives. For public-space deployments, privacy-preserving video (blur, no-store) is available as a payload option.

Can we upgrade to owning the fleet later?

Yes. Most of our retainer contracts include a buy-out option at depreciated value plus training transfer. For customers who want to own the fleet but keep xBoom in the loop, we offer AMC-only engagements with quarterly optimisation reviews.
