“Robot dog price in India” is a question with a wide answer, because the range runs from a research platform you could expense to a machine that costs more than a car.
Here’s the actual pricing.

Which variant for which use
University and research — Go2 Edu
The Edu variants exist for one reason: you get the SDK and low-level control. If your work involves writing your own gait controller, running reinforcement-learning policies on the hardware, or integrating the robot into a ROS stack, the consumer variants will frustrate you inside a week.
Buy Edu if a student needs to program it. Buy anything else if they need to operate it.
Industrial inspection — Go2 Pro, or B2
For patrol and inspection — substations, plants, construction sites — you want payload capacity, battery endurance and IP rating. The Go2 Pro at ₹3,98,000–₹4,70,000 handles indoor and light industrial patrol.
For serious outdoor duty, rough terrain and real payloads, that’s B2 territory. B2 is a substantially bigger machine built for industrial workloads rather than demonstrations.
Demo, events and marketing — Go2 Pro
Honestly, this is a large share of what actually gets bought. A quadruped walking around a trade stand draws a crowd, and for brand activation the Go2 Pro is the right balance of presence and cost.
If that’s the use case, buy the controller. Operating it from a phone in front of an audience looks like what it is.
Go2 vs Go2 Pro: what the money buys
What can be said now: the Pro tier is the one XBOOM stocks with confirmed pricing, and the accessory ecosystem around it is deep — 3D LiDAR (MID360 and XT16), Intel D435i depth camera, D1 6-DOF servo arm, K1 robotic arm, charging and docking stations, spare body/calf/thigh motors are all catalogued.
When you need B2 instead
Step up when any of these is true:
- You need a payload the Go2 physically cannot carry.
- The environment is genuinely rough — outdoor, wet, uneven, industrial.
- The robot needs to work a shift rather than do a demo.
- You need endurance measured in hours.
If none of those applies, B2 is more machine than the job needs.
Quadruped or humanoid?
A question we get constantly, and the answer is less about capability than about what the robot has to reach.
A quadruped is better at moving. Four legs are more stable, faster over rough ground, and carry payload more efficiently. For inspection, patrol and anything that’s fundamentally about getting a sensor somewhere, a quadruped wins.
A humanoid is better at working in human spaces. Doorknobs, stairs designed for people, tools with handles, shelves at human height. If the job requires hands and a human-scale reach, no quadruped will do.
XBOOM stocks the Unitree G1 developer humanoid and the H2, the full-size 1.82 m humanoid.
Rough guide: inspection and patrol → quadruped. Manipulation and human-space work → humanoid. Research → whichever matches the papers you want to write.
Support in India
This is where the buying decision usually lands, because a ₹5 lakh robot with no local support is a ₹5 lakh paperweight.
XBOOM is the authorised India distributor for Unitree. That means genuine units through the official channel rather than grey imports, local spares, and engineers in India who have actually opened these machines.
What comes with it:
- INR quote, GST inclusive
- KYC, training and onboarding
- Local spares and service
